![]() ![]() ![]() When I realised that various things were not yet working in this beta build, such as Bluetooth, I decided to revert back to Windows 8.1 with a clean ISO downloaded using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool. ![]() I recently installed Windows 10 Insider Preview on my Acer Aspire ES1-311 PC (which originally came with Windows 8.1 with Bing). So I thought I'd share my solution in case others run into the same problem. I hope this post isn't too redundant, but I've spent the last 3 days trying to restore my OEM version of Windows 8.1 with the "install.wim" file that I had saved (before deleting the recovery partition to save space), to no avail.
